about our puppies
*We always say;
"The proof of our hard work is in our Puppies." At Wind Whispers Farm, LLC, our goal is to provide you a healthy, beautiful, intelligent, biddable, Rough Collie puppy. We breed Rough and Smooth Collies because we love them for their intelligence and beauty. Our puppies are raised in our home with lots of attention, normal household noises, our other Collies and hands on love. We begin socialization as soon as they are born and then exposed to as many things as we can to enrich their growth, keep them curious and give them confidence. The puppies may go to their new homes after their first vaccination at 12 weeks of age. Our puppies all stay with each other and mama until at least 12 weeks of age. Our puppies are sold with Limited Registration as Companion/ pets. Our prices start at $1150 and go up depending on what you're looking for. * |
*Our puppies are family to us. We're not just breeders—we're caretakers and protectors, too. That's why our policy states that if for some reason you are ever unable to keep your collie, we will accept them back at our home, no questions asked. No refunds will be given. No judgement will be cast.

What are ENS exercises?
ENS is done for 2 consecutive weeks starting 3 days after the puppies are born. The process consists of 5 simple and harmless exercises, which are:
We've used these exercises with our puppies since 2017, and we've found that they help them adapt to changes and become more confident.
We highly recommend these exercises based on the results we've seen in our own dogs and in our friends' dogs as well. |

How do we raise your puppy?
- Raising a puppy in our home can be a rewarding experience, but it also comes with responsibility. We need to ensure that our puppies are exposed to the right environment, activities, and exercises so that they can grow into well-rounded and happy adults.
- One of the most important aspects of raising our puppies is Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) exercises. These exercises help them develop their physical and neurological abilities by exposing them to different stimuli such as sights, sounds, and other animals like cats and dogs.
- In addition to ENS exercises, we should also make sure that our puppies are exposed to normal household activities like vacuuming or doing laundry so they will be comfortable in any environment. By providing our puppies with the right amount of exposure and activities they need, we can raise them into healthy and happy adults who will bring joy to your lives.
- We have a great time raising our puppies. We make sure they are de-wormed every two weeks, and that they get probiotics. They eat nutritious kibble, as well as cottage cheese, berries, and yogurt. They also get grooming, nail clipping, toddler games, scents, and more!
- We know that you want the best for your puppy, and we're here to help. That's why we offer microchipping upon request, puppy well checks, and Volhard testing upon request.
- Welcome Home Puppy Kits, including - Collar & leash, Small bag of Current Puppy food, any Registration puppy forms, and Health Certificate from our vet. We also send home MDR1 heath information, and a current list of drugs to avoid.
MDR1 Sensitivity:
If you have a Collie, it's important to know that even if your dog is MDR1 Normal/Normal, he may still be sensitive to certain medications. That's why we recommend that you speak with your vet about what drugs your Collie can safely take. You can also educate yourself on the drugs that are not safe for your dog by reading through this Washington University FAQ page.
